Our Mission Statement

In recent years, businesses within Yorba Linda have been struggling to hire good staff, and keep their businesses operating consistently. The Chamber has taken a strong stance in supporting businesses and ensure the future vitality of economic growth for the City of Yorba Linda. This provides an opportunity for the Foundation to develop and administer workforce end economic development programs in partnership with the Chamber.

The YLCC Foundation started as the Education Committee for the Chamber, tasked with providing scholarships to local students. It was decided in 2020 to create a Foundation to provide the opportunity of expanding the current scholarship program. Since 2022, the Foundation has grown to now provide $1,000.00 scholarships for many local students with the local community.  

The Foundation's top revenue sources are from donations through the raffle conducted at the Chamber's Network Connection Luncheons and the raffle conducted at the Taste of Yorba Linda. Additional revenues are generated from the bi-monthly E-Waste Recycling Event. 

Thanks to the support of our community, we have been able to make a significant impact over the years. The Foundation is on a path of growth to provide more benefits for the Yorba Linda community, rather than only providing scholarship funding. With a strong financial footing and our 501(c)3 status, the Foundation Board looks to build upon the recent achievements, identify new and key priorities, and guide the Foundation's future for the next 5 years.
